Desk: Asia FX Trading

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Trader to join the Asia FX Desk in New York. The role offers direct exposure to Asia FX markets and requires strong understanding of short‑term interest rate dynamics, as well as the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day trading activities on the Asia FX desk
• Monitor market developments across Asia FX and short‑term rates
• Assist in risk management, position monitoring, and P&L tracking
• Work closely with senior traders to execute strategies and manage franchise relationships
• Contribute to market colour, trade ideas, and desk communication across time zones

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of short‑term interest rates and their impact on FX markets
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience (trading, structuring, or markets‑related role)
• Solid understanding of Asia macro and FX market microstructure
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a real‑time trading environment

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$130,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
