The Village of Downers Grove offers full testing services for the Police Officer position through the National Testing Network (NTN).

The application deadline is Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE TEST

• Visit National Testing Network
• Enter the Candidate Portal
• Create an Account or enter your login credentials
• Select Find Jobs
• Select Law Enforcement from the drop-down menu
• Filter by Preferred State (Illinois), and select Downers Grove.

NEXT STEPS

Upon completion of your scheduled exam, scores are automatically forwarded to the Village of Downers Grove. Candidates who attain a passing score on the entry-level exam and provide the necessary verifying documentation will be placed on the Village's eligibility list.
