Description
The City of Jamestown is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Completion of Associate of Arts Degree or more than 60 semester hour credits directly applicable to a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. In addition, it is preferred that applicants have completed the Peace Officers Basic Training, currently licensed in accordance with North Dakota P.O.S.T. requirements. Applicants must have a valid North Dakota driver's license or must obtain one prior to employment. It is also desirable that an applicant have some background in dealing with the public.Starting salary for this position is $4,954 per month. (Salary range is $4,954 - $7,487).
