Description
Coordinate and perform admin for high-volume recruitment coordination in a fast-paced environment. Your new companyThis Defence associated organisation is large, complex and fast-paced with a strong focus on governance, compliance and high-volume recruitment delivery. The team is entering a peak recruitment period and requires immediate support to deliver multiple bulk campaigns efficiently and accurately.
Your new role
This role is a 3-month fixed-term contract only, with no extension, and is fully office-based, five days per week.
As the Recruitment Support Officer, you will provide high-volume administrative and coordination support to the Talent Acquisition team during a critical delivery window. This is a process-driven, operational role focused on accuracy, pace and compliance. You will support bulk recruitment campaigns end-to-end, ensuring candidate administration, scheduling and documentation are completed on time and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Screen applications against predefined criteria
- Maintain accurate candidate records, trackers and reporting spreadsheets
- Coordinate interviews across multiple panels and stakeholders
- Prepare interview documentation and assessment materials
- Issue bulk candidate communications and respond to routine enquiries
- Support offers, pre-employment checks and onboarding documentation
- Ensure recruitment documentation is complete, compliant and audit-ready
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Previous experience in recruitment coordination or high-volume administration
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Confidence working in manual, process-heavy environments (Excel, shared drives, email)
- Strong written communication skills
- Baseline security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Australian Citizenship
