Job Overview
Reporting to the VP of Contracts, the Senior Contracts Manager supports the administration and execution of Aurex's federal contracts across defense, space, and intelligence programs. This role focuses on managing the contract lifecycle, maintaining accurate contract data and reporting within our CRM systems, and working closely with Program Managers and Business Development to ensure contracts are executed efficiently and in compliance with federal regulations.
Core Responsibilities
- Contract Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts including review, negotiation support, execution, modification tracking, and closeout.
- Program Support: Partner with Program Managers to monitor contract performance, funding, deliverables, and compliance with contract requirements.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate contract data within company systems, manage pipeline and contract records in the CRM, and generate reporting for leadership.
- Proposal Support: Assist Business Development and Capture teams with contract review, proposal documentation, and coordination during proposal submissions.
- Subcontract Management: Support subcontract administration including issuing agreements, tracking modifications, and ensuring appropriate FAR/DFARS flow-down requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure contracts adhere to applicable federal regulations including FAR/DFARS and internal company policies.
- Internal Coordination: Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Program teams to support contract execution, funding tracking, and documentation.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 610 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts within the Defense, Aerospace, or National Security sectors.
- Contract Knowledge: Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and common federal contract types such as CPFF, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ.
- Contract Administration: Experience supporting contract negotiation, modification management, subcontract administration, and contract compliance.
- Systems & Reporting: Experience managing contract data, CRM systems, and reporting for program or contract performance tracking.
- Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with Program Managers, Business Development teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Contract Management, or a related field.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using UNANET or similar ERP/CRM systems
- Familiarity with IDIQ contracts and federal contract vehicles
- CFCM or CPCM certification
- Experience supporting DCAA or DCMA audit requests

The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000 annually.
