Position Summary:
Our Product team is continuing to grow, and we're excited to add a Senior Product Manager to support that growth. This is role driven by expanding product and market opportunities.In this role, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market (GTM) messaging for a portfolio of our Fulfillment products focused on automation, and ERP integration within a SaaS environment. You'll bring a strong external customer perspective, ensuring our products solve real customer problems and deliver measurable business value.
You will operate at the intersection of market, customer, and business needs—driving alignment across sales, customer success, product marketing, UX, and engineering. Success in this role is measured by your ability to influence product direction, deliver against revenue and retention goals, and clearly articulate the "why" behind the roadmap to stakeholders at all levels.
This role requires strategic thinking beyond the technology itself, incorporating the people, processes, and customer experiences that differentiate SPS in the market.
Essential Responsibilities / Duties
•Define and own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle based on deep understanding of market trends, external customer needs, and business priorities
•Lead the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategy, messaging, positioning, and pricing in partnership with Product Marketing
•Build and maintain a multi-year product roadmap aligned to growth, profitability, and customer retention goals
•Develop deep expertise in SaaS products supporting system automation, integrations, and ERP ecosystems, including how customers use and derive value from them
•Act as the voice of the customer, leveraging market research, customer insights, and data to inform decisions
•Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, UX, Engineering, and Product Marketing to ensure alignment and successful execution
•Translate product strategy into clear, actionable requirements; partner closely with Product Owners and UX to guide development teams
•Drive alignment and influence decision-making across executive and cross-functional stakeholders
•Own and be accountable for product performance, including revenue growth, retention, and profitability
•Mentor team members and provide informal leadership across the product organization
Minimum Requirements
•5+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS environment with externally facing products
•Proven experience owning product strategy, roadmap, and GTM execution
•Strong ability to influence and align stakeholders
•Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex problems and deliver outcomes
•Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and strategic judgment
•Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus
Location:
This role follows a hybrid work model, with regular in-office presence required at our Minneapolis office.
What We Offer:
At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.
The annual salary range for this role is: $120,000 to $155,000. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
Additionally, you may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. An incentive award, if granted, is based on individual and/or organizational performance.
