Description
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Designs and build full-stack solutions in partnership with Global Trust & Estate Technology Teams.
- Applies and advance AI-driven development practices throughout the SDLC.
- Delivers robust, high-performance code to cloud environments.
- Optimizes algorithms and workflows to improve process efficiency.
- Solves technical challenges with creativity and a practical mindset.
- Mentors and learn within a diverse, high-performing engineering team.
- Advocates for engineering best practices, code quality, and team success.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Developers who combine technical excellence with the mindset of a Renaissance Developer in the AI era.
- Java/Spring, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, or Kafka. You're hands-on with cloud platforms and eager to experiment with modern development stacks.
- Creative thinking to pipeline design, AI integration, and user experience. You see the possibilities of AI woven throughout the SDLC and are passionate about building reliable, scalable systems that shape the future of Trust & Estate technology.
- Solid grasp of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
