Responsibilities:
- Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
- Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
- Utilize the computer in the analysis and solution of business problems, such as development of integrated production and inventory control and cost analysis systems.
- Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
- Develop and implement security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse environment, including client server, distributed, and mainframe.
- Apply specialized cyber security expertise to design and implement patch and remediation tracking solutions.
- Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using .Net Framework, .NET, Entity Framework, ADO .NET, and RESTful specifications.
- Utilize full stack engineering including languages of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, and SQL for coding and debugging to build and maintain custom software.
- Design and develop production ready software using web API, and MVC.
- Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems in order to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies of Apache Solr and Redis.
- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management and Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
- Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using .Net Framework, .NET, Entity Framework, ADO .NET, and RESTful specifications;
- Utilizing full stack engineering including languages of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, and SQL for coding and debugging to build and maintain custom software;
- Designing and developing production ready software using web API and MVC; and,
- Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems in order to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies of Apache Solr, and Redis.
