POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting the account services department from order entry, reporting, and facilitating small-scale projects. This position may manage smaller, less complex customer accounts and provide assistance in resolving customer problems. The Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, coordinating and managing processes for all customer requirements, as well as monitoring internal systems. Works independently with coaching to identify and resolve problems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  1. Responsible for all aspects of order management and communicates on a daily basis with the following cross-functional teams: Traffic, Accounting, Category Management, Sales, Production and EDI team.
  2. Provides dedicated order management and supply chain/logistic skills to support customers. Communicate updates to customers as required.
  3. Resolves routine questions or problems on orders. Assists with complex problem resolution.
  4. Leverages existing tools and procedures to collect and review information needed to manage an account and the ongoing activities associated with the account. Creates routing customer specific reports and spreadsheets.
  5. Provides timely and accurate information to customers regarding order status and in-depth product knowledge.
  6. Manages customer inventory programs according to the established department policies and procedures.
  7. Checks and reviews acknowledgments against orders. Reviews electronic purchase orders against our data for accuracy in pricing, part numbers, quantities.
  8. Oversees projects/orders and business relationship with assigned accounts and attends account based meetings with other departments.
  9. Identifies, communicates and assists in resolving customer needs for credit, pricing, freight and delivery, invoicing, shipping, installation, special reports or other administrative procedures.
  10. Approves and processes adjustments and Return Goods Authorization (RGA) according to established policies and procedures. Able to handle non-routine RGA's, credits and adjustments.
  11. Takes ownership in resolving invoicing and purchase order issues.
  12. Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
  13. Ability to work and interact well with others

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent qualifying experience.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year customer service, sales support or marketing experience if non-degreed.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated time management, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Builds customer loyalty and confidence.
  • Bilingual skills (required for certain sales territories only)
  • Intermediate understanding of basic office applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to maneuver in mainframe screens, LOTS and Lozier Menu.
  • Demonstrates in-depth job knowledge.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Lozier products and paperwork flow (specials, customer specific).
  • In-depth knowledge of Lozier manufacturing systems and workflow (product structure, role of Production & Inventory Control and Production & Inventory Planning.
  • Experience with data analytics
