Edelman's San Francisco Health practice seeks a dynamic Account Supervisor who is eager to work on an exciting book of business with clients tackling some of the most innovative and challenging topics in the healthcare industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starting individual looking to play a key role on a growing team and work in an industry that has profound impacts on millions of lives.

As part of our dynamic team, you'll support some of the leading biopharmaceutical clients across corporate reputation, public affairs, disease awareness and brand campaigns. The San Francisco Health practice operates within the larger Edelman agency network, with access to global resources and the opportunity to collaborate across offices to deliver high-quality, cutting edge work to our clients.

While there is no "typical day" at Edelman, you will work on multiple accounts, including some large, integrated client projects, and responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing day-to-day account support and managing multiple projects simultaneously, keeping teams organized and updated.
• Serving as daily client contact, addressing client requests and issues thoughtfully and effectively.
• Demonstrating superior writing, editing and presentation-development skills and consistently producing high-quality content.
• Working with team members to develop and execute external communications strategies and programs that include earned, owned, social and paid tactics for clients.
• Staying up to date on the current healthcare landscape and the relevant issues impacting organizations and businesses active in the space.
• Building relationships with internal business partners and external vendors to meet client needs.
• Supervising team members by motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, and holding them accountable.
• Conducting industry research and presenting analysis succinctly and effectively.
• Contributing to new business proposals and presentations.
• Committing to continuous learning and improvement of skills; setting and pursuing stretch goals.

You are someone who:

• Has experience in and is passionate about the ins and outs of the healthcare industry.
• Has strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills. You love good grammar.
• Is highly organized and loves a project plan. You have experience managing large and small projects start to finish that involve multiple workstreams and stakeholders and can create effective systems to get it all done seamlessly.
• Believes teamwork makes the dream work. You enjoy being part of a diverse and collaborative group.
• Has experience as the point person/client contact for clients or stakeholders.
• Is up for a challenge. You're able to independently problem solve and navigate challenges and ambiguity to accomplish a goal.
• Can effectively multitask and prioritize activities to deliver high-quality work you're proud of against competing deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

• The Account Supervisor should have at least four years of relevant experience working in communications and/or related fields including advertising, account management, digital, journalism, media relations, research, management consulting, and/or employee engagement.
