The Management and Insurance and Risk Management Department of the Marilyn Davies College of Business at the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is seeking applicants for Adjunct positions in Management. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Management, have a demonstrated potential for instructional excellence, and maintain his or her professional credentials. Specifically, we are seeking individuals with research and/or professional qualifications to teach any of the following:

• Strategic Management


• Compensation and Benefits


• Staffing


• Small Business Management


• Diversity and Inclusion in Organizations

Masters degree in teaching discipline or closely related field

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in teaching discipline or closely related field and one or both of the following:

• Academic publications in peer-reviewed journals within the last 5 years




• Significant industry or consulting experiences within the last 5 years




• Teaching or corporate training experience




• Minimum five years of progressive industry experience, aligned or closely related to the teaching discipline
