SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position will provide administrative support to the various programs in Housing & Support Services, In-Home Services and Community Education, in addition to assisting the Office Manager with the administrative functions and processes of the office and providing back up to the front desk administrative assistant. The ability to work with a diverse population is necessary for this position. Very detail oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines is a necessity.

Work Schedule: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (20 hours per week)
Compensation: $12.97 to $16.87

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • *Responsible for entering confidential client information in the MyEvolv system. Working with assigned staff to ensure all information is entered and up to date.
  • *Coordinates information flow (mail, telephone calls, intra-agency requests) to appropriate person(s) as required.
  • Processes closed client files and maintains client file documentation standards for storage.
  • Assist with organizing donations, stocking supplies and assembling move-in kits as needed.
  • *Establishes a positive, professional working relationship with community resources.
  • *Completes necessary reports and collects data consistent with contract requirements.
  • *Observes confidentiality of clients and their record.
  • *Ensures that client databases are maintained per established procedures.
  • Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
  • Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers and other Agency staff.
  • *Maintains regular, prompt attendance at the office on a consistent and reliable basis.
  • Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies and requirements.
  • Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
  • *Creates, maintains and shares as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
  • *Strives to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency's ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
  • *Essential functions of this job are to be performed on company physical work site.
  • Performs other program related duties as assigned.
  • *Maintains system for ordering all supplies necessary for smooth operation of programs through Office Manager.
  • Assigned special projects requested by Program Directors and perform other program related duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • High School Diploma
    • Two years' experience
    • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro and Database Management
