Primary Responsibilities:
- Disassembly and re-assembly of all
HTFE7000/731/738/36-100/36-150 engine types and models.
- Removes and reinstalls engines on aircraft for major periodic and core zone inspections.
- Perform incoming and outgoing engine runs and line maintenance, as required.
- Stages and de-stages engines to perform test cell analysis.
- Documents all work accomplished (a.k.a. sign-off) in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
- Documents all discrepancies, troubleshooting & repairing discrepancies and describing work accomplished in inspection paperwork
- Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directive as required.
- Analyzes a variety of mechanical problems and determines the cause and best method of repair.
- Uses hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges and calibration test equipment.
- Works fair share of overtime and travels to customer locations or other Landmark facilities to support customer aircraft, as required.
Relocation Provided: No - Signing bonus may be available for those who qualify.
Position Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk throughout hangar, climb onto aircraft and platforms, work with hands and power tools, and work in tight confined spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50
pounds.
- Must be able to stand a minimum of 8 hours per day and walk long distances.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, crawl, and climb ladders in order to work on areas within the aircraft or engine that are difficult to access.
- Must be able to manipulate and operate equipment of all sizes, tools, telephone handset, calculator, computer keyboard, and telephones.
- Must be able to work outside in extremes of temperature and inclement weather.
- Must be able to see to disassemble and visually inspect.
- Must be able to hear to detect the sources of problems.
- Must have excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
- Must be able to read, speak
and clearly
write English language to c ommunicate and document status of maintenance.
