Development Projects Scope:

Create and define system scope and objectives and develop solutions for complex system problems and integrations to meet business objectives and customer need

Partner with business users to gather requirements, write functional and technical specifications and communicating technical requirements.

Translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions.

Develop, configure and modify complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments.

Define new capabilities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Technical Skills required:

Background in end-to-end data pipeline development and deployment with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud (GCP), Azure HDInsight (Hortonworks) or Hadoop applications (e.g. administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning).

Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Java/Python/Scala/R

Proficiency in SQL is required; Must be comfortable working with large structured and unstructured datasets; Experience with apis.

Hands-on development experience using open source big data components (Hive, Pig, Spark, Kafka, Sqoop, etc.)

Extensive experience with modern BI platforms (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI)

Familiarity with Linux is strongly preferred.

Understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning methods encouraged.

Task Management Scope:

Ability to work with stakeholders to identify high priority items and to allocate personal time to effectively meet expected deadline

Lead other team members in cross-functional project

Identify areas of improvement not just in owned work but also in other areas of the busine

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of full-time work experience

Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred

Candidates must have the ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated busine
