Harris Affinity is seeking a Healthcare Decision Support Consultant to join our Professional Services team.

As the Decision Support Consultant you will work closely with both clients and Harris Affinity team members to complete Decision Support projects such as installation of our Affinity Decision Support (ADS) software and training clients to use the software as well as meaningful use of the data. Additional responsibilities include process documentation, product testing, and project management.

The Consultant position will be work-from-home with minimal travel requirements.

What your impact will be:

• Work both collaboratively in a team as well as independently to complete customer and internal projects

• Participate in client discussions to determine project requirements

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues

• Support client implementation activities including data planning, system integration, client resource training, process development and documentation, and user acceptance testing

• Document complex processes for both advanced and novice users

• Manage project hours and timelines

• Identify and mitigate project risks

• Communicate with implementation team and project stakeholders through regular status reporting

• Critically brainstorm innovative solutions for clients and the software

What we are looking for:

• Minimum Associates Degree in Healthcare, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent

• Interest in improving the healthcare system both financially and operationally

• Proficient use of standard business software including MS Office Suite

• Proficient use of reporting tools including Web Intelligence, Crystal, or equivalent

• Proficient use of programming tools including SQL or equivalent

• Positive, proactive, and action-oriented attitude and approach

• Eager to learn and seek new skills

• Strong presentation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
