  • Purpose of Job
    • Nebraska Methodist College is seeking a medical-surgical, high acuity, pediatric full-time faculty with a willingness to teach in all 3 aforementioned areas.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or currently working toward a MSN Degree.

    • Experience
      • Experience with teaching in nursing higher education in the classroom clinical, and simulation preferred.

    • License/Certifications
      • Unencumbered Nebraska or Multistate nursing license.
      • CPR certified.

    • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

      • The faculty should encourage an environment that facilitates mutual respect and accountability, while demonstrating professional behavior. In addition, faculty should have the following knowledge/ abilities:

          • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students and faculty.
          • Experience with teaching in the classroom and clinical.
          • Proficiency with a personal computer, Learning Management System, and standard office applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Power Point).
          • Ability to offer creative teaching methodologies to promote student success.
