Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Supports our Client in leading the implementation and monitoring of different project initiatives in the surgical area.
  • Collaborates in the identification and analysis of operational and clinical processes, helps in the implementation of detected improvements and documents the best practices in the hospital.
  • Coordinates participation of Medtronic's resources in the development of the project ensuring an active, diligent and quality participation.
  • Selects and defines KPIs.
  • Prepares different reports which reflects status and development of the project.
  • Provides documentational support to the programs which have been implemented, their follow-up and achieved results in terms of improvements in efficiency and quality of care and operations.
  • Connects between Medtronic and the hospital and (and vice versa) to share "Know How", capabilities and knowledge.

    Must haves

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree, ideally in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Bioengineering or similar.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience on similar position.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • High level of Catalan.
  • Availability for travelling and relocation to other part of Spain if the project will require it.
  • Project Management skills
  • Knowledge of methodologies, e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile
  • Computer literacy.
  • Strong problem-solving and facilitative leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • High levels of accuracy, accountability, integrity and flexibility.
  • Strong customer focus and understanding.

    Nice to haves

  • Previous experience in process improvements/ reengineering.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification

    Travelling requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel as well as temrporal relocation of future projects will require it.
