Job Description

Drives overall implementation of plans and strategies, continually monitors effectiveness.

Consults with management on a variety of HR and business related issues, both strategically and operationally.

Continually assesses the effectiveness of the organizations business model and organization dynamics and leads efforts to realign/refocus as needed.

Drives organization wide talent planning initiatives (in partnership with L&D) including profiling, assessment, calibration, development planning and succession planning.

Partner with the Senior Leadership team to translate and ensure alignment to the vision.

Partner with the VP and Senior Leadership team to drive effective organizational alignment and processes to enable strong partnerships with key functions.

Lead change management efforts in partnership with the Senior Leadership team and L&D partner.

Partner with the Senior Leadership team to ensure leadership and team effectiveness.

Partner with the Senior Leadership team in establishing effective operating processes (i.e. prioritization, resource allocation processes)

Provide executive coaching and development to senior leaders.

Drive an effective reward and recognition strategy that reinforces the culture and behaviors.

Develop and implement measurement systems to determine the impact of HR programs.

Provide coaching and consultation on ER issues.


  • Bachelors degree required, MBA or Masters degree in an HR discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience that includes at least 5 years of generalist experience.

  • Strong leadership and influence skills, and the ability to drive change
  • Strong project management skills and results orientation
  • Good business acumen and judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to help define, translate and execute on an organizations strategy
  • History of delivering results
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Solid knowledge of HR strategies, practices and policies
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with management team and to coach and influence decision making of senior leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict
