A Day in the Life

Provide a professional level of eBusiness support to customer care, field sales staff and customers by possessing a broad knowledge of Medtronic products and policies. Support may include troubleshooting technical issues, doing root cause resolution and educating others on how to use eBusiness tools to accomplish key business needs. Work in partnership with business partners across multiple departments and business units to improve the user experience. Support new functionality of the channels by sharing knowledge and testing functionality. Facilitate company goals in the areas of automation, touchless, customer satisfaction, quality, revenue growth, and department compliance. Contribute to customer and field relationships to increase and sustain the overall competitive advantage for Medtronic.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Facilitate successful onboarding of customers and internal business partners to our eBusiness channels
  • Effectively manage inquiries and requests from external and internal customers
  • Share opportunities to improve technology and contribute to process improvements
  • Proactive account, user, and order management to ensure customer relationship needs and business requirements are met for Customers through eBusiness channels
  • Assist with cross-channel eBusiness issue resolution by providing root cause analysis and improvement recommendations
  • Partner cross-functionally across internal Medtronic organizations, businesses & geographies to promote and onboard eBusiness channels (i.e., eBusiness COE, Master Data Operations, IT, Integration teams, Sales Ops)
  • Act as a customer advocate and provide recommendations to the organization to improve user experience
  • Provide recommendations to automate exception processes
  • Participation in cross-functional process improvement initiatives
  • Assist with marketing and communications of eBusiness channels
  • Assist with requirements gathering, testing and role out of new functionality

This position is an off-site, remote role that requires the employee to be located in Jacksonville, FL, Mansfield, MA, Mepmhis, TN, or Minneapolis, MN.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have
  • Medtronic Customer Service experience
  • Proficient system knowledge in SAP and Microsoft applications
  • Basic electronic order channel knowledge
  • University Degree
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with diverse groups at all levels
  • Detail oriented and highly organized; strong prioritization skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and respect when dealing with coworkers, Sales Representatives, and Customers
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize heavy workload, self-motivate
  • Strong ability to understand technology solutions and explain system usage to others in a simple manner
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Customer focused -- Strong sense of urgency and willing to "go the extra mile" for the Customer
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in an ever-changing environment to support the needs of the business
  • Knowledge of Medtronic's products and culture
  • Flexibility to support any order channel work as business and leadership determine
