The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the development of internal and external protocols, assisting with the implementation of evaluation-related program activities, and working collaboratively to improve the quality of all evaluation activities. The incumbent must be able to work independently and consult with project staff as needed. Specifically, the Program Evaluation Specialist will: 1) Conduct qualitative and quantitative evaluations of curricula, educational and training events, implemented innovations, and meetings and site visits, as scheduled using the standards established by PERU. 2) Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders. 3) Observe, describe and offer suggested areas for improvement on stakeholder workflow, process improvement, and delivery of services to decrease the prevalence of disease within various patient populations. 4) Collect performance data to assist with outcome measurement by collecting information on a monthly basis from program managers and by reporting this information during quality assurance and improvement meetings.
Experience in substance abuse prevention/behavioral health is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, statistical software programs, and web platforms is required. Experience with R preferred.
