Job Description -

This individual will be a passionate, detail oriented, creative teammate who possesses strong negotiation skills that are supported by a win/win mindset and approach. This individual will have a strong appreciation and understanding of our business model, culture and Code of Conduct. They will embrace the understanding that our PCs are the heart of our business, and drive for results that support our Profit Centers success. This person will establish themselves as a trusted and respected industry leader. She/he will add maximum value for Hajoca by successfully negotiating and managing best in class Vendor Programs (e.g. Rebates, Payment Terms, Freight Terms, Restocking Fees, Growth Goals...). To maximize effectiveness in the role, this individual will maintain healthy and mutually beneficial vendor relationships and be expected to represent Hajoca in a professional and ethical way that epitomizes who we are and what we stand for. This person should have extensive knowledge on supply channel dynamics. Primary duties will include responsibility for the negotiation, management, communication, and administration of all program/rebate agreements for a defined group of vendors

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Program Management and negotiation
  • Data Analysis and business consultant to Hajoca Team (DM/RM and PCM)
    o Conduit o f information for DM, RM and PCM to help in decision making
  • Maintain a trusted and respected influencer role within the industry
  • Forms and maintains relationships with our vendor partners (including new potential partners). Meet with interested vendors to inform and educate on Hajoca's business model
  • Serve as primary point of contact between manufactures and Hajoca on all things concerning programs
  • Actively communicates and educates Hajoca business units on vendor opportunities. Will ensure information is fully disseminated and understood across profit centers and business units.
  • Communication of supply chain information between Hajoca and suppliers
  • Provide a company-wide view that leverages volume and maximizes return on commitment

Travel Requirements:

This position requires occasional travel. To fulfill the responsibilities of this job, 20% to 25% travel may be required.

Required Experience

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Servant leadership mentality

  • Prior sales and negotiation experience; 3-5 years of sales and/or management experience

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; impeccable business judgment; Interpersonally engaging and amicable

  • Deep plumbing industry knowledge, and strong strategic thinking mindset

  • Commitment to building relationships that maximize value for both parties

  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for continuously educating internal customers about vendor opportunities and partnership requirements

    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree
