The Associate Warehouse Manager provides over sight of Distribution and Packaging operations.Responsibilities include directing employees in all aspects of warehouse operations including packaging of finished goods, receipt of items, shipment of orders, and warehouse inventories of products. The Associate Warehouse Manager is also responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in meeting the department objectives relating to Quality, Cost, Schedule, and Safety.



Hours 7:00AM - 3:30pm M-F



Manages People



  • Supports, tracks, and documents activities to meet Warehouse objectives/goals including Quality standards and performance metrics. This includes production output per budget, performance per standard, first time acceptance, On-time, In-full, and other data or trends such as Quality, MbOs, NCRs, documentation errors, and regulatory commitments for shift of responsibility.

Communication Meetings



  • Holds regularly scheduled communication, safety, and process improvement meetings with the shift of responsibility as directed by the Warehouse Manager.

Employee Development



  • Directs and plans for continued career growth of employees on shift of responsibility.

Scheduling



  • Reviews the production schedule and allocates resources accordingly, coordinating with the Warehouse Manager.

  • Provide updates on daily basis to supply chain and other support departments of the production schedule process.

Safety



  • As off shift Associate Manager required to complete CPR / First Aid and Hazardous Material response training and acts as primary contact for shift

New Products



  • Supports new product development activities and communicates the activities and resource needs to the shift of responsibility.

Continuous Improvement



  • Utilize Root Cause Analysis tool to identify the cause to an issue or event impacting the manufacturing process.

  • Assists in implementation of corrective action(s) to identified root cause and tracks the effectiveness of the corrective action.

Education



  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field Required

Professional experience



  • Minimum of one year in medical device, pharma manufacturing or similar process Required

  • Minimum of two years of management / supervision experience

  • Thorough understanding of ISO standards, validation needs, and maintenance requirements for a device manufacturing facility

Knowledge, skills and abilities (incl. languages)



  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software applications Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Required

  • SAP experience for Warehouse operations

  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting projects/tasks and deadlines

  • Proven ability to manage and develop staff and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Experience


Required
