The Program Manager serves in an administrative/ professional capacity by managing all aspects of the multi-faceted program (Edith M. Baker Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Fellowship), including working directly with the School of Social Work's offices of Admissions, Field Placement, and Alumni and Career Development, as well as with the Direct Practice Committee, MSW Program Committee, the program team, field supervisors, students, speakers for various disciplines, universities in the region, federal funders, University committees, and the program's Advisory Board. Determines procedures by developing the protocol and policies for all aspects of the program under the University, School of Social Work, and federal guidelines.

This includes, policies and procedures for student eligibility; application requirements; student selection/ acceptance; required courses for certification; additional student training development through seminars, workshops, and forums; and field placement (internship) requirements. Works with the Advisory Board and the Director of the Field Office to recruit, train, monitor, and evaluate, field supervisors and placements, as well as monitor student assignments through field visitations. Prepares reports, analysis, and proposals by

(1) ensuring standardization of materials necessary for evaluation, including field learning plans for students in the program, evaluation of current students and alumni, and evaluation of current and past field supervisors; (2) identifying ways to capture new information; for example, to capture different models used for teamwork across the lifetime of the project and across various sites; (3) working with the program team to create and employ various data-gathering strategies to generate statistically analyzable data; (4)synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to develop reports on major findings for funders, as well as internal reports for the program team and Advisory Board; and 5) using collected data for the overall quality assurance and the program refinement effort. Works in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and the Director of Administration to formulate the budget. Works directly with the Research Manager to monitor the budget. Supervises part-time and student workers and one graduate student assistant.
