Oversees the overall operations of the Bakery. Stocks and maintains production and quality of bakery product. Creates team atmosphere. Makes centerpieces for banquets and outlets.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Five (5) years' experience in a position as a Baker or equivalent.
• Ability to make sugar and chocolate display pieces.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Creates desserts, pastries, breads, Danish, ice cream and any additional requirements of the property.
• Monitors standards and procedures for creation of product.
• Assists in training of employees for the bakery.
• Responsible for order, inventory and maintenance of supplies; and distribution of all products to their specified areas.
• Responsible for product rotation to insure freshness.
• Ensures environment is clean and safe.

DEMANDS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

PHYSICAL & MENTAL:

• Must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
• Visual range must include immediate area.
• Ability to read and interpret formulas; calculate quality conversions; understand product directions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Use proper sanitation procedures.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
