Join our team on a different kind of journey.As a Manager, you will set the vision and developing the marketing strategy for a specific business and set of partners to unlock both category growth & advertising revenue. The marketing strategy will keep a lens on total company and macro industry trends while developing new initiatives to engage customers. You will build and maintain relationships internally & externally. You will help our advertising partners to unlock the full potential of their brands through a unique blend of offerings and high-value audiences.
You have a proven track record of effectively communicating the value proposition of key offerings, delivering on goals, and communicating effectively with executive-level vendors and internal leaders. The Marketing Manager works cross-functionally with internal and external partners to deliver strategic campaigns and thoughtful marketing solutions. You are a strong leader and may have direct reports.
This position will report to the Director or Sr. Manager of Partner & Category Marketing.
Responsibilities
Marketing and Sales Strategies:
- Develop and deliver a clear marketing strategy for business growth
- Partner on customer insights and shopping behaviors and champion the customer journey with your team and your brand partners
- Lead large campaign moments that drive business for your categories
- Advise and guide partners internally & externally with a marketing POV
Relationship Management:- Lead large, strategic partner relationships
- Effectively communicate Best Buy Ads value proposition to inspire partners to pursue new product offerings
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide partner insights and strategies
- Evangelizing Best Buy Ads capabilities and purpose to drive business growth
Financial Management:- Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and expense to your leader on a timely basis
- Effectively manage your business trends and action plans
Team Management:- Attract, recruit, train and retain exceptional talent by developing career plans with team members
Basic Qualifications:- 7+ years of progressive experience in Retail/Media/Marketing/Sales area
- Deep knowledge of digital media, online marketing technology and its competitive landscape
- Experience developing emerging talent or has shown exceptional leadership behaviors
