JOB SUMMARY:

Assist in the development of high worth gaming customers; maintains rapport with current gaming customers, develops new gaming customers, actively solves guest issues and establishes profitable loyal relationships for Harrah's Reno while monitoring investments.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Establishes and maintains the good will of high-worth customers based on proactive relationship building, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and timely decision making.
  • Actively tele-markets to players to maximize their gaming potential.
  • Finds new customers based on criteria established by property leadership
  • Responsible for developing incremental trips and increased gaming revenue in coded gaming patrons.
  • Provides complimentary services for gaming customers in accordance with program qualifications and reinvestment guidelines.
  • Represents management at special events, assists in planning special events, and host events.
  • Greets and hosts customers.
  • Works closely with VIP Services staff, Harrah's Total Rewards staff, Northern Nevada Air Programs, and all other departmental staff to ensure good teamwork.
  • Keeps abreast of competitive promotional methods.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all happenings on property and in market
  • Understanding of the Total Rewards and offers programs to effectively communicate and educate all guests.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school graduate or equivalent. College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Casino Marketing or Gaming Operations; previous sales experience preferred.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills in English; Multi-Lingual preferred
  • Ability to speak Cantonese preferred.
  • Proficiency in PC operations including Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of AS400 (CMS, LMS) preferred
  • Passionate about customer service and strong interpersonal, relationship building skills.
  • Creative and innovative in guest satisfaction areas.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to maintain composure under all circumstances.
  • Ability to maintain the strictest confidence regarding all information concerning Harrah's and its guests.
  • Must possess sales personality, aptitude and focus.
  • Must be able and willing to work various days and shifts, and long hours as required
  • Strong interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
  • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedure

    PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Manual dexterity to use computer
  • Ability to hear, speak, read, see and write
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds
  • Mobility to move about the property

    Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy

    environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
