Billing Coordinator - ADP Marketplace

ADP Marketplace is seeking a billing analyst to join our world-wide operations team. This individual will be responsible for a broad range of analytical, technical, and billing responsibilities. As a member of ADP Marketplace operations, you will directly impact overall revenue collection through the maintenance of partner data, direct communication with partner contacts, preparation of partner invoices, and compliance with internal controls and policies. The individual in this role should be comfortable following procedures to complete frequent, repeated invoicing activities but also have a bias towards action and problem solving along with a strong focus on service delivery and customer experience.



  • Perform all billing transactions, including new invoice creation and credit processing, timely and accurately to ensure an exceptional client experience
  • Conform to ADP's standard operating procedures and processes to meet ADP's contractual requirements with our partners
  • Accurately research and resolve client and partner billing questions, suspended billing transactions, and related issues to ensure the accurate recording of ADP's revenue
  • Manage and respond to internal, client, and partner billing inquiries professionally and accurately; include case resolution with supporting documentation and details within established service levels
  • Perform audits in accordance with internal controls and procedures and maintain documentation required for established key controls
  • Perform month over month billing variance analysis and audits
  • Track and manage payments received directly from partner; serve as liaison to partner managers to address delinquent partner revenue payments
  • Ability to read and comprehend Master Service Agreements (MSA), partner contracts/amendments and established standard operating process documentation
  • Ability to understand the flow of data between systems to ensure accurate and complete billing
  • Thrive in a metrics driven environment, meeting or exceeding department goals based on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Perform research using multiple systems and query tools
  • Analyze billing transactions for completeness and accuracy; escalate findings to technical support to ensure process gaps are identified and closed
  • Set up, change, and manage client information as requested
  • Maintain pertinent invoicing data and prepare monthly KPI status reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with close attention to detail
  • Build relationships of trust, respect, and partnership by providing excellent service to clients, partners, and internal teams; support teams by providing insightful expertise
  • Work directly with billing leadership, internal and external clients and partners to resolve areas of dissatisfaction and prevent further occurrences
  • Assist on other projects and ad hoc requests as assigned by team leadership.

Skill Requirements:

  • Able to organize, manage, and simplify presentation of complex data
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong sense of accuracy and ability to self-check work
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail through repetitive invoicing activities
  • Professional communicator -- both spoken and written
  • Flexible and supportive team member
  • Strong sense of service and customer experience
  • Time management -- strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Well organized
  • Ideally some billing experience
  • Ideally able to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and propose and implement relevant changes



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience



  • 1-2 years of professional experience (service industry, sales support, billing, finance and/or accounting)
  • Business experience in a large matrix organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
