PREMIER Bankcard is looking for an analytical individual to expand its team in Risk Management MIS to provide support for credit analytics in the form of applying advanced analytic techniques and tools.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting wage is determined based on prior work experiences.

Full-time Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with 1 in every 4 weekend on-call commitment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engages in independent self-direction.

  • Must be able to fulfill the responsibilities of the position with little supervision.

  • Assesses priorities and changing needs and directs oneself accordingly.

  • Must interpret links between data being pulled and the impact to the overall business.

  • Ensure analytic assumptions are accurate and based upon sound financial and/or statistical principles.

  • Basic statistical modeling and analysis of data using advanced software.

  • Seek out business opportunities and provide recommendations to Management.

  • Research new and innovative analytic techniques in support of business initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must possess basic understanding of credit card system.

  • Combination of education/experience (3-5 years) that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.

  • Required competencies include: PC skills, including competency with SQL, Excel, Word, and SAS.

  • Engage in independent self-direction; must be able to fulfill the responsibilities of the position with little supervision; assesses priorities and changing needs and directs oneself accordingly.

  • Ability to independently write queries, understand data table relationships and structures, and formulate actionable conclusions.

  • Attention to detail, strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Ability to handle stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and procedures and uphold The PREMIER Way.
