What you will do

As a Business Analyst, you gather raw data from different sources and turns it into usable and presentable information in order to help organizations gain insights, generate intelligence and make more effectivebusinessdecisions.You are driven by data-based results. In this role, you will develop performance measurement frameworks lead and lag key performance indicators (KPIs) - and you will analyze the performance of a service or product against these, adapting your approach and framework appropriately and in line with any changes. You will then automate such frameworks to make it repeatable, accessible and easy to read (dashboards and reports) to key business leaders. You are not only a builder, but a storyteller who strategically takes raw data and turns it into usable information for your customers including sales people and business leaders. You know how and what to communicate to audiences across various leadership levels.You execute with a critical eye, delivering only quality data that is accurate. You ensure accuracy by checking data reliability to get it right. You prioritize accurate record keeping and financial information in support of internal and external reporting.

How you will do it

  • Aide and drive performance by supporting JCH functional teams as the Business Analyst lead.

  • You will be the go to for stakeholders in the areas of data analysis and insight generation (i.e. revenue, margin, sales pipeline and others).

  • You will help the business adopt the use of strategic Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, CRM-Analytics, and others.

  • You will be the go to for sales and business reporting needs.

  • You will be the domain expert to business stakeholders in their proper interpretation of the data/information presented.

  • Act as a consultant, advisor to proactively design KPI's and build analytics dashboard/reports to effectively communicate findings to organizational leadership and key stakeholders

  • Evaluating business processes for efficiency, cost, and other valuable metrics

  • Communicating insights with business teams and key stakeholders

  • Preparing strategic recommendations for process adjustments, procedures, and performance improvements

  • Prepare data for proper use of analytics algorithms and analysis procedures.

  • Integrate data collection practices and manage reports and dashboard designs.

  • Generate business insights through analysis of data trends, correlations, anomalies, cause & effect, business scores and others.

  • Develop Intelligence through advance predictive and prescriptive analytics.

  • Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems.

  • Eliminate anecdotal drive decisions and provide data driven recommendations and insights.

  • Grow company-wide data based decision science and best business practices

What we look for


  • A Bachelors degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Operations or a related field is required. Business Analytics studies desirable, but not required.

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of cumulative experience in Sales Analytics, Marketing Analytics or Customer Analytics domain.

  • Excellent data mining and analytical skills.

  • Experience in cleansing data in preparation for analysis.

  • Advanced in aggregating data from disparate sources to come together in an effective way.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT, SUMIF, GRAPH), SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, SQL, PowerBI or equivalent tool mandatory.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, with a keen ability to synthesize diverse ideas/inputs into a cohesive execution plan.

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills - able to work effectively across various leadership levels and styles

  • Proactive, creative, efficacious, and process-disciplined problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to build rapport, cultivate working relationships and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.

  • Resourceful self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to translate data analysis to insights and business results in business terms.
