The Strategy Senior Manager is a key part of maturing the MDLIVE Business Unit. This role includes supporting ideation, and evaluation of new solutions and business lines for the MDLIVE as well as helping guide top inititives to implementation. The role requires interaction with a range of stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. As this is a startup business within Evernorth, this role is critical to the success of the business and creating and realizing customer and shareholder value.

This role is responsible the following:

Collaborating to bring roadmap ideas to readiness for implementation. This includes:

  • Closely partnering with MDLIVE Value Creation team to set and groom high value priorities & align to roadmap
  • Supporting the presentation of top ideas for implementation to senior leadership and funding sponsors
  • Leading project planning sessions, coordinating resources, and overseeing project documentation, as appropriate
  • Managing project progress and adapting work as required while ensuring projects meet deadlines
  • Optimising and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
  • Handing off projects to delivery teams as necessary when moving into implementation cycle, while continuing to support for strategy guidance

Supporting an effective model to research and analyze new solution and business line ideas. This includes:

  • Supporting intake and prioritization of consumer and market data to support the Virtual Care Business & Services Roadmap
  • Leveraging frameworks to analyze all data and drive conclusions around customer and client needs, indicating areas for growth opportunities and initiating new projects

Supporting Virtual Care Value Creation roadmap across stakeholders. This includes:

  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Understanding all Evernorth businesses, synergies, and collaborative solutions
  • Understanding Evernorth legal, operating, and technology structures
  • Supporting Virtual Care business in ideation / grooming of new ideas in partner businesses
  • Supporting consolidated roadmap and coordination with other Evernorth business, to include owned and vended solutions

  • Continuous improvement by leading the capture and incorporation of best practices and lessons learned across solutions assessment processes, creating a clear, structured, repeatable, and executable approach

  • Understanding of the Corporate and Business Development cycle/process around acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
