About the Role:

We are looking for a Commissioned Bank Examiner/Risk Specialist to serve as the Central Point of Contact (CPC) for a bank holding company (BHC) with assets between $10-100 billion (regional bank or RBO). Your primary responsibilities include leading the annual BHC inspection, performing continuous monitoring and serving as primary contact between FRB Dallas and institution management. Our team of seven examiners is also responsible for supervising a large RBO state member bank (SMB) and a BHC with assets of approximately $9 billion. As time allows, you may lead a nd participate in supervisory events within our team and across the RBO portfolio.

You will also contribute to the Fede ral Reserve System, Reserve Bank, and Departmental initiatives by participating on committees, projects, and training. Activities will be accomplished by working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. We prefer you be based in Dallas, TX, but will consider remote work arrangements. The Central Point of Contact designation generally does not exceed five years to help ensure supervisory independence. The CPC may rotate out of the role but retains position on the supervisory team and continues reporting to this hiring manager.

You Will:

• Work with a team of examiners/risk specialists, internal management, representatives from other regulatory agencies, the Board of Governors (Board Staff), and other local colleagues when formulating and messaging supervisory findings
• Lead annual BHC supervisory activities: BHC inspection, development of the supervisory plan, and compilation of the institutional overview and risk assessment
• Perform quarterly monitoring of risk trends, as well ad hoc analyses for the assigned BHC
• Prepare examination reports and work papers to ensure conclusions are sound and supported, reports are well-written, and messaging is clear and appropriate
• Lead supervisory events of other institutions assigned to our team and across the District's RBO portfolio
• Develop strong relationships with your team members and internal management, senior management of the supervised entity, Reserve Bank colleagues, and Board Staff
• You will be asked to share your views and be open to, and respectful of, others' views and perspectives
• Be open to feedback and willing to coach and develop others

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, audit or other business-related field of study
• 5+ years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or banking supervision
• Examiner Commission preferred
• Familiarity with any of the following considered a plus: enterprise risk management, compliance, operations
• Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements
