Department Overview:

The Commercial Strategy and Operations Team are seeking a contracts administrator in New York to support the creation of contracts and agreements on behalf of the NY based sales team

This is a new created function within the commercial team devised to help sales create accurate contractual documentation in a timely and efficient manner. Across the team we have ownership of client documentation, pricing, client entitlements, and contract creation

The role will report into the Director of Commercial Operations and Strategy team, based in NY.


The successful candidates will provide a highly responsive service to our internal clients (sales) with accuracy and efficiency underpinning everything we do

  • Set up agreement object in SFDC for new and renewing clients to ensure ability to accurate submit to our billing systems
  • Generate contractual documents direct from the CLM system and amend as needed to meet the sales needs
  • Co-ordinate any changes requested by the client and make sure all appropriate approvals have been received before creating a final document for signature
  • On signature from the client update SFDC with any relevant information related to the agreement and submit to sales operations for activation
  • Manage any changes/rejection to submitted deal working with sales and sales operations and resubmit
  • Upload final dual signed document to SFDC and delete any obsolete contractual documents in line with the file maintenance policy
  • Work with commercial operations team to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SFDC/CLM systems

Qualifications and experience:

  • 3+years' experience in an sales or contract administration role
  • Experience of SalesForce and CLM or another CRM System
  • Quick learner with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, including ability to prioritise and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team environment.
