Our Finance leaders and functional business partners in IT, Enterprise Analytics, Business Transformation, Human Resources, Finance and Legal rely on us to provide high quality reporting and insights to help them allocate resources in the most effective manner possible. This role plays a critical part in this by centrally developing financial results and metrics reporting, and business processes that help the overall team provide quality information with deeper insights to our CFO and business partners in a timely way. Key deliverables include monthly close reporting with key trends and metrics, supporting quarterly operations packages and ad hoc process improvement initiatives. This role will also provide direct support to one or more Corporate Operations functions.

Primary Function of Position:

This Financial Analyst, Corporate Operations role is responsible for building on our existing core FP&A reporting infrastructure to enable efficient and impactful business partner and financial leadership read outs. This will include extensive Tableau reports and workflow development, standardized presentation templates and helping maintain the group's financial reporting structure. Analyst will also support various FP&A analytical/financial projects with data needed to drive decision making and improve financial results. Lastly, this role will entail some light forecasting and business partner support activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team of analysts in Corporate FP&A to develop tools and reports that drive efficiency and deliver results.
  • Generate ideas for process improvements and implement process changes, as necessary.
  • Develop, analyze, and report on key metrics that highlight operating efficiency.
  • Perform analytical tasks in support of key initiatives including completing project ROI analyses
  • Assist in the maintenance of financial hierarchy and headcount reporting to improve quality, detail and accuracy of system generated reports while minimizing manual data processing
  • Serve as thought leader on leveraging available tools and resources, lead transitions to new tools and data sources to make overall team more efficient

Qualifications - Internal

Skill/Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly analytical role;
  • Quick learner and ability to drive successful results with limited supervision;
  • Organized with high attention to detail: does not need to be micromanaged;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and to partner across multiple functions;
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills;
  • Solid experience in Tableau, high learning agility with data analysis/visualization tools and approaches;
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP (ERP), Hyperion are preferred;
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to solve problems and reduce ambiguity;
  • Fast and high quality execution;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
