Job Summary:
The Credit / Risk Specialist will work the functions of the Underwriting and Risk teams as a shared resource. The Credit - Risk Specialist will split their day by focusing the first four hours on pulling underwriting and compliance documentation for UW review. Followed by working the remaining four hours per day performing exception reporting within Risk, evaluating transaction exception data, assessing potential risk exposure, and initiating basic risk investigations. This position requires strict attentiveness to details within the merchant applications and displaying outstanding customer service with regular interaction with merchants via telephone.
