This position is based out of Houston, TX

Responsibilities

  • Provide field leadership and supervision of the preservation team to meet specific project needs.
  • Able to complete daily activities alongside construction craft.
  • Ensure project safety and quality performance through personal example as well as supervision activities.
  • Attend daily safety meetings.
  • Verify and insist on strict adherence to lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO) and policies.
  • Ensure proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is utilized by all team members.
  • Promote and insist on good housekeeping on the project site.
  • Ensure tools and consumables necessary for the proper execution of each assigned activity are available.
  • Evaluate condition of project equipment to confirm compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) preservation requirements.
  • Work within company data systems to record and track progress of assigned activities and report progress.

    Qualifications

  • This position does not include sponsorship opportunities for United States work authorization.
  • 8 years' minimum experience in equipment preservation, maintenance or commissioning.
  • Multiple years of large, complex project experience.
  • Oil and Gas industry experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally at all levels of project management, staff and craft, in English.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
