About the Job

The Training Coordinator will develop, plan, schedule, facilitate and lead internal training programs across Customer Experience to develop our employees, ensure consistency, retain organizational knowledge and assist our employees in realizing their full potential. Through the establishment of training goals, by fostering an environment that values continuous education and providing employees with the training resources needed for success, the Training Coordinator will reinforce our Company's culture as a learning organization.

Major Accountabilities

  • Conducts training programs across all levels of the organization, using subject matter experts (SMEs) and local resources.
  • Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs as well as ongoing learning opportunities across the organization, in support of the organization's needs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and management to develop business specific, in house training materials needed to transfer organizational knowledge and ensure consistency.
  • Develop, administer and update a consistent New Employee Training Program across the organization, ensuring each employee receives a consistent, thorough onboarding experience after hire.

  • General Responsibilities
    • Support the implementation of new programs, processes and business tools or systems by developing and delivering training to CESs across the business.
    • Create training plans and schedules for CESs in partnership with WFM.
    • Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
    • Work with the Management team to identify training and development needs within the organization through QA and supervisor feedback.
    • Measure effectiveness of all training programs.
    • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
    • Conduct New Employee Orientations.
    • Performs other duties as required.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    • Required: Proficient in Microsoft office applications; Good working knowledge of the various training and presentation platforms and Microsoft collaboration tools including SharePoint, iPad applications and hardware, Skype for Business.
    • Preferred: Advanced knowledge training video creation tools (such as Camtasia and Go Animate) or other related applications.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and reflect the Company's values.
    • Proficient in training methodologies, curriculum development and soft skills (communication skills, critical thinking, time management, team building, etc.).
    • Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs.
    • High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style.
    • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
    • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be a compelling public speaker with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must have the ability to engage trainees in discussions during educational sessions.
    • Must have strong time management skills as well as be an effective multi-tasker.
    • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word Suite including PowerPoint for producing training materials and presentations.
    • Training experience - proficient in training methodologies, curriculum development and soft skills (communication skills, critical thinking, time management, team building, etc.).
    • Advanced computer literacy with in-depth knowledge of MS office, Microsoft collaboration tools and web-based systems; visual aids technology
    • Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required.
    • Superior organizational skills, with a focus on attention to detail/level of quality.
    • Strong knowledge of CC&B

    Education / Experience
    • Required: Bachelor's degree or related discipline with an emphasis on training and development, education, or instructional design.
    • Required: 2 - 5 years' experience as a trainer in a corporate or adult learning environment.

    Working Conditions
    • Light to moderate physical activity; requires normal hearing and vision.
    • PC and/or laptop, copy/fax/scan machine, telephone and other general office equipment.
    • Minimal travel may be required
