Our team will guide you through our learn-on-the-job environment and offer robust training/development opportunities as you bring a fresh perspective to solving customer, retailer, and manufacturer challenges and bridging strategies across this highly collaborative environment.

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent; MBA Preferred.
  • Humble, adaptable, and curious leaders with a drive for results, a desire to learn, strong problem solving skills, and ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Individuals who are excited by strategy, sales, retail, analytics, customer development, and E-Commerce.
  • Be proficient on the following computer applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; Experience with syndicated data preferred.
  • This role will be remote or hybrid and located near Meijer's HQ location in Grand Rapids, Michigan or a Mars Hub including Franklin, TN; Minneapolis, MN; Bentonville, AR; and Cincinnati, OH.
  • Travel expectations are approximately 10% of the time.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Serve as trusted business partner both in the day to day operations and long-term strategy.
  • Develop and manage top and bottom-line forecasts for both Mars and the Customer Joint Business Plan (JBP).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create and execute customers solutions that drive profitable sales growth with a key focus on product assortment, merchandising/shelving, promotion and pricing.
  • Build robust new product launch plans to maximize customer impact.
  • Manage customer trade and shopper marketing budget and execution with continued focus on improving effectiveness of spending.
  • Lead diverse, multi-functional teams and eventually lead and mange others in future roles.
