By joining Emerson as a Customer Service Rep, you will have a substantial role building customer relations while supporting sales initiatives. Through this role we will give you the opportunity to test your skills in a dynamic environment, to learn from our technical experts and grow within our organization. AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP, YOU WILL:
  • Communicate with outside sales, sales manager and product managers to highlight order delivery issues
  • Support the external sales team where direct customer liaison is required
  • Provide varied phone and e-mail support to customers
  • Complete order-entry change orders and cancel orders
  • Ensure customer response times are at their optimal level
  • Acquire knowledge of all products
  • Work with Accounts Payable Department on customer payment issues and discrepancies
  • Work with Credit Department setting up new customers
  • Organize and maintain customer service orders, quotes, records and databases
  • Maintain / provide key data for daily, weekly, monthly use
  • Follows all 5S practices and supports lean activities, as well as safety regulations policies and procedures

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and math skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Technical qualifications in a mechanical field highly desirable
  • SAP and CRM experience a plus
