As a Digital Communications Program Lead, you will be a key player driving the collaboration between Business and IT leaders to jointly develop and own the current and future-looking technology strategy/roadmap and prioritize the project portfolio across Global Corporate Affairs to deliver the maximum investment value to the business.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Align IT Global Corporate Affairs strategy and priorities with broader Takeda IT and Business priorities through proactive engagement with the global Corporate IT and Finance department and present new opportunities to leadership as appropriate.
  • Lead and drive collaborations with business and IT stakeholders to define, build, communicate, and source functional services and capabilities.
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks for functional group in alignment with IT standards.
  • Refine key processes to drive progress and transparency across the programs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead the development and periodic updates of the technology strategy/roadmap and the prioritized portfolio for these functions.
  • Establish and manage the IT Digital Communications dashboard of programs and projects to monitor progress, identify and manage risk, dependencies, and issues. .
  • Define success and track value realization for individual project and portfolio across functional IT organization.
  • Communicate with IT Project Management Office for templates, standards, policies, and procedures to ensure standardization across IT functions.
  • Adhere to global governance processes including preparing projects for gate approvals as mandated by central governance standards.
  • Oversee budget & determine proper allocation of resources (people and financial) for programs.
  • Monitors key milestones, budgets, and activities for executive level reporting.
  • Assists the Head of IT Global Corporate Affairs and other business areas on the initiation, scoping, development, and implementation of digital communication projects.
  • Uses and selects appropriate communications instruments, channels and content for project and Digital communications.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field, or relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role as project portfolio manager and project/program manager.
  • Experience developing and implementing governance frameworks for functional group in alignment with Strategy & Transformation standards.
  • Experience with senior management and stakeholder presentations, engagement, and support.
  • Knowledge and understanding about financial and budget processes.
  • Setup, engagement, and planning of governance bodies.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Experience in technology strategy design.
  • Agile project management experience preferred.
  • Experienced in budget planning and financial projection/reporting.
  • Cross-functional collaboration.
