Our Role:



We are seeking a Director, Conflicts of Interest (Personal & Institutional Conflicts) for Prudential. This position sits within the Conflicts of Interest Center of Excellence and reports directly to Prudentials Corporate Ethics Officer. This leadership role directly oversees both the personal and institutional conflicts of interest global programs. This role is responsible for managing and continuing to improve the conflicts of interest programs, engaging with global stakeholders in both the businesses and functions, and participating in the compliance risk management program on behalf of the conflicts function.





Responsibilities include:



  • Serve as a thought leader for the personal and institutional conflicts function

  • Oversee data analytics, trend identification, and creation of reporting for conflicts function

  • Provide advice and guidance to employees with respect to conflicts-of-interest policies and procedures

  • Facilitate timely employee conflicts of interest disclosures

  • Lead the team in assessing and improving the efficiency of conflicts systems, processes and matters, including on matters related to conflicts of interest policies, procedures, supporting technologies, communications, and training. Provide valuable input for improvements based on community feedback and experience

  • Support communications and training regarding conflicts

  • Identify, and analyze existing and new conflicts regulations in addition to championing best practices related to conflicts

  • Analyze and facilitate review of personal and institutional conflicts of interest matters for businesses and corporate functions, including screening of business opportunities and transactions as needed

  • Develop strong partnerships with Legal & Compliance, business unit, and other control function colleagues

  • Participate in compliance risk management program on behalf of conflicts function

  • Perform other related duties as assigned




Qualifications:



  • The ideal candidate will have experience running global personal and institutional conflicts programs

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters and exercise discretion

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet competing deadlines

  • Ability to work effectively in matrixed organization

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders

  • Bachelors degree

  • 7-10 years of financial services/insurance industry experience preferred, global experience preferred




While this position can be based out of our Newark, NJ offices, we are also open to remote candidates nationwide. Salary range specific to Colorado: $129,900.00 - 175,700.00 USD Annual + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits
