Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a Director, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion within our HR department at our central business office in Westerville, OH. This position will be responsible for the design and implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, efforts and education for both patients and employees. He/she will not only set the short-term and long-term strategic vision and goals, but will also develop action plans and goals, tending to the initiatives through their completion. These initiatives will aim to drive engagement, education, equity, experience and transparency both inside and outside the organization. This role will serve in a leadership position on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee made up of representation from across the organization. Responsibilities include driving programs that support workforce diversity, inclusiveness, and retention opportunities, as well as programs that support patient diversity and improve access to healthcare for all. The Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion should possess strong analytical and project management skills and have the ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy.





ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies and metrics around recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee engagement and retention.



Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies and metrics around patient diversity and removing barriers to healthcare based on social determinants to access comprehensive healthcare.



Develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate diversity initiatives in order to sustain engagement, as well as a diverse and inclusive organizational culture.



Responsible for driving diversity programs and ideas to full implementation - in partnership with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and various stakeholders across Human Resources, Executive and Physician leadership.



Serve as subject matter expert and liaison to physicians and the business to develop strategic action to attract/develop/retain diverse employee and patient populations by analyzing and presenting demographics, monitoring trends, working with HR and population health.



Create innovative solutions to strengthen diversity, equity and inclusion and cultural competencies across the organization, including developing and presenting training to all levels of the organization.



Communicate regularly to key stakeholders and all employees about internal and external diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, events and progress.



Identify, build, and sustain community partnerships to support corporate diversity, equity and inclusion projects/plans/initiatives and business strategies.



Support the HR department with the companys Culture of Kindness activities and Culture initiatives.





EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Minimum 10 years of Human Resources experience with focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).



Proven, progressive experience and demonstrated effectiveness leading DEI related initiatives and programs.



Previous project management experience as well as using data and analytics to drive change.





REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:



Excellent organization, facilitation, written and oral communication and presentation skills.



Ability to lead DEI transformational initiatives in a complex and dynamic environment, utilizing project management techniques.



Ability to drive organizational change



Focused and influential communication style



Success building business relationships, strong business skills and proven leadership in developing, implementing and supporting DEI solutions for both employees and patients



Ability to effectively communicate DEI initiatives to physicians and presenting the costs necessary while allowing them to make sound business and healthcare decisions



Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals



Knowledge of HIPAA, state and federal guidelines



Ability to manage multiple projects and possess a strong knowledge of diversity metrics and analytics



Excellent Project Management skills to drive ideas into actionable items that produce results



Ability to connect resources both internally and externally to accomplish goals
