Position Title: Director, Facilities and Workplace Management - 9E



Role:


The Director of Facilities and Workspace Management will be a member of the Crown Castle Supply Chain & Facilities Leadership Team, reporting to the Vice President of Supply Chain & Facilities. This position will collaborate with the Executive Management Team and other key business leaders to plan for, establish and maintain all associated policies, procedures, properties and supplier relationships for all Crown Castle owned, leased or short term contracted workplaces, in a manner that ensures all Crown Castle teammate workspace requirements are effectively and efficiently met. Currently, approximately 4,300 teammates reside in 60 office locations with an annual cost of ~$60M.



Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with key business leaders to develop and maintain long term facility / workplace strategic plan

  • Collaborate with key business leaders to accommodate Crown teammate workspace needs including;
    • Office selection

    • Design

    • Renovation / buildout

    • Traditional lease management

    • Agile workspace management

    • Equipment & office supplies

    • Development and maintenance of a facilities /workspace teammate arrangement framework

  • Partner with Crown Real Estate attorneys in the creation and review of real estate leases and ensure compliance with contractual obligations of the lease (both financial and non-financial)

  • Establish facility / workplace policies and standard operating procedures in line with Executive Management Team strategic direction

  • Collaborate with operational and functional stakeholders to establish optimal supplier-partner compliant contractual relationships

  • Develop and manage approved annual operating and capital budgets

  • Collaborate with Safety, Security teams to ensure effective and compliant day-to-day operation of Crown owned facilities including safety, security, regulatory, licensing, housekeeping, maintenance, employee relocations, mail and package distribution, etc.

  • Establish annual goals, objectives and KPI performance management processes

  • Ensure all lease workplaces are compliant with Crown standards

  • Collaborate with to implement standard systems to manage above areas of responsibility

Education/Certifications


  • Bachelors degree in Facility / Property Management Required

  • MBA orMastersdegree - Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements


  • Ten+ (10) years in VP or Director level leadership position with experience leadingcomplex, enterprise level projectsfacility / property management projects and teams

  • Experiencewith developing and rolling out project management frameworks (e.g. Agile) processes & standard documentation

Working Conditions:Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.During COVID19 conditions, this role will work remotelyto mitigate risk. This position will require approximately 10-15%travelwhen conditions allow.
