Responsible for developing and delivering against the HR Systems Roadmap. This individual is specifically responsible for the continued Ultimate Software HRIS deployment, data administration, controls and processes in addition to managing HRIS support, integration and people/projects/initiatives. Coordinates with all functional areas within HR to assure that technology related needs have been adequately addressed. Provide leadership, direction, oversight and support for Human Resource Information Systems. Responsibilities include the creation, communication, training, and rollout of standardized HRIS processes. Develop relationships with strategic partners to achieve theglobal goals of the organization.


  • Collaborate with the VP, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS on strategy and overall HRIS direction

  • Point of contact at the entity(s) for resolution of issues and for escalation of support issues and project planning and prioritizing work requests and projects

  • Collaborate with business process owners to identify opportunities; define business requirements, and design and implement solutions designed to maximize efficiency and productivity

  • Design, develop, implement, maintain and update HR systems/programs/reports to optimize the system value

  • Serve as the project manager for all HRIS system projects and initiatives. Maintain budgets, timelines and quality of each program

  • Evaluate HR processes and recommend automated solutions to improve efficiency

  • Ensures data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities

  • Manage HRIS related control items by working with IS, HR, Benefits and Payroll clients on requirements, development, and testing

  • Manage all related tables (HR, Payroll, Benefits, etc.)

  • Serve as the liaison for all internal customers requests including writing queries to retrieve data for Accounting, Benefits, Labor Relations and the Executive Team

  • Design materials and potentially lead training for End Users

  • Supervise team members to ensure achievement of goals and objectives

  • Serve as an escalation point for all system related processes and procedures

  • Responsible for assisting in business case assessment, vendor selection, and implementation for all Corporate HRIS systems, as well as coordinating and leading all required HR resources

  • Responsible for ensuring all HRIS initiatives support the local legal requirements of the locations for which the systems will be used

  • Responsible for the development, communication, rollout, and enforcement of standardized HRIS processes in situations where a common automation solution is pursued

  • Responsible for ensuring all business segment HR staff have required training and education

  • Responsible for the standardization and enforcement of those standards as it pertains to the input and use of HRIS data, HR Processes which create HRIS data, and the datas use for decision making at the Senior Management level

  • Participate in acquisition integration into existing HRIS systems


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in HR

  • 5+ years in an HRIS management role

  • Knowledge of Ultimate Software platforms
