Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Catering Department:
1. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Shaner Hotels, franchise, and hotel/departmental policies and procedures, ensuring that Catering team is informed as well.
2. Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Companys business operations.
3. Establishes, maintains, and trains standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department.
4. Develops accurate and aggressive short and long range financial objectives for the Catering Department consistent with property objectives.
5. Actively solicit and book business following hotel standards.
6. Meet with clients to work out the details of their functions. Escort clients through the property and highlight features of facility as well as available services.
7. Suggestively sell menus which meet the client's needs and maximize revenues.
