The Director, US Integrated Business Intelligence (IBI) will be accountable for the US integrated business insights and analytics for US Leadership across all Commercial programs. This role will be highly visible and partner directly with our Head of the US Region and the rest of the US leadership team. S/he will partner closely with the Global IBI team to ensure consistency when needed across all regions. S/he will be a key member of the Global Insights & Analytics Team.

This position is located in Cambridge, MA.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner for the Head of the US Region and US leadership to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions using data and analytics in partnership with rest of Insights & Analytics team
  • Leverage data and analytics to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendation in partnership with rest of the Insights & Analytics Team
  • Full accountability for US integrated business insights services in collaboration with rest of Insights & Analytics team
  • Seamlessly ingrate insights across all Insights & Analytic disciplines (Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, Data Science, etc.) to create a 360 view of patients, markets, and customers
  • Lead the US IBI team
  • Support weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews for US leadership
  • Perform intake review and assist in prioritization of analytics and reporting requests alongside Global IBI team
  • Work with Global IBI teammates to maintain the production Business Intelligence products and solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in Business Analytics in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry for the US
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
  • Recognized expert in connecting, integrating, and synthesizing analysis and data into meaningful insight
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Confidence and ability to present complex information concisely and effectively to all audiences, including senior leaders and groups
  • Ability to understand business process and break down business questions into specific, tangible hypotheses and requirements to guide analysis
  • Experience leading teams and individuals; ability to maintain strong cross-functional and cross-team ties to collaborate with colleagues outside direct reporting structure
  • Experience with industry leading BI and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, etc.)
  • Experience working with Commercial data (e.g., Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distributor data, and internal Patient Services data)
  • Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with strong ability to multi-task and shift focus as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate technical details to technical and non-technical resources. Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels and functions across the business.
  • If employed in the U.S., being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is required
