Job Description:

Job Summary:

The applications trainer will provide legal applications training and support to all GRSS teams.


  • Demonstrates proficiency in applications used by all GRSS clients supported.
  • Delivers group and one-on-one applications instruction in-person, remote or other; provides desk side coaching across a 24/7 support environment
  • Develops and implements best practices
  • Ability to design and develop instructional programs for the GRSS document and administrative support teams, including preparation of instructional outlines, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), handouts, specialty web seminars, e-learning modules, and follow-up exercises
  • Ability to create new hire and existing staff training plans including targeted skill assessments
  • Provides weekly status reports on activities; maintains local training calendar and student attendance and training plans.
  • Liaise with the GRSS Team managers to identify and coordinate parallel processing assignments used for training new team member
  • Assumes responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • College degree or equivalent experience; Microsoft Certification a plus
  • Law firm Applications training experience required including, but not limited to: DocXTools, Adobe Acrobat, Nuance, Best Authority, Workshare, Litera, iManage FileSite/DeskSite, NetDocs, eDocs
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows-based computer software applications including MS Office, document management systems, presentation and diagramming and charting software programs.
  • Strong written communications, interpersonal, customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, staff and a variety of external entities, including prospective clients.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, use initiative and judgment to accomplish results.
  • Excellent skills in spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and proofreading.
  • Self-starter, proactive; able to demonstrate initiative; detail oriented.
  • Team player and ability to work under pressure.
  • May require occasional travel.
  • Ability to support all shifts in a 24/7 support center #LI-KP1
