Job Description
- Provide technical leadership, analysis and design related to the development of complex applications supporting a broad range of technology platforms with the goal of achieving the stated business objectives
- Defines high-level application roadmaps to address the gaps between the current and future state with the mindset of incremental, extensible capability roadmaps that demonstrate quick wins
- Accountable for overall solution-level integrity of applications
- Develops and maintains current and future state reference architecture
- Lead analysis of current solutions to identify critical deficiencies and drive solution improvement
- Analyze current technologies and solutions utilized across the enterprise and suggest alternate solutions that align to the business needs
- Gains insights into and anticipates customer pain points, challenges, and needs for modernized applications. Identifies business value opportunities and aims to deliver quality solutions
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify and recommend software solutions and strategies to resolve business challenges
- Participates in the innovation process and continuous improvement by leveraging the latest industry knowledge
- Determine the technical and operational feasibility of proposed solutions
- Develop and maintain implementation plans for key aspects of enterprise applications based on business requirements and technology strategies
- Participates in technology reviews; experiments with new ideas and technology trends to determine impact on the enterprise architecture
- Contributes to an inclusive environment that values differences by building and maintaining collaborative relationships with team members, peers, and leadership
- Develop and ensure compliance with architecture principles and standards based on design patterns
- Support testing, deployment, training and communication
Minimum Qualification - Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
- TOGAF certification desired
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology
- Minimum of five (5) years of application development experience
- Business analysis capabilities including ability to gather and document business requirements and business rules
- Outstanding analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills; ability to weigh various suggested technical solutions against the original business needs and delivery mindset
- Experience communicating integration strategies and best practices with business partners and development teams
- Experience developing and delivering integrated software solutions
- Experience turning business needs into a technical architecture that is scalable, flexible, and manageable.
- Expert in application design/architecture, integration architecture development, and enterprise application integration
- Experience working with the software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Ability to understand and work with large, complex systems.
- Experience contributing to and managing the development of policies, procedures and best practices.
- Ability to provide both detailed information as well as summaries to management.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience working in a project-based environment and exhibiting excellent project management skills.
- Leadership, communication and oversight skills necessary ensure architecture frameworks and designs are followed
- Enterprise vision and orientation to detail necessary to identify project and architecture risks
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and software project life cycle and associated methodologies.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audiences in a way that establishes rapport and gains understanding
- Highly self-motivated individual with cooperative attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal skills; Needs to work well in a team environment
- Excellent influencing and reasoning skills; good at conflict resolution and consensus building.
Additional Position Requirements: A background investigation and drug test is required.
