We are looking for a top-performingE-Commerce Manager.

This role will work to increase revenue, grow market share and create a compelling experience that steers customers towards booking on each hotel's direct online property channels. The E-Commerce Manager is a thought leader to the hotel's marketing, sales, and revenue management teams, providing local and countrywide insight to enhance the digital experience. The E-Commerce Manager partners hand in hand with their colleagues on the property marketing team to engage current and would-be customers with targeted messaging that's relevant, on-brand, and genuinely engaging. This role also provides eCommerce communication, training, education, reporting, and analysis to marketing and sales teams on property.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility include:
  • Directly responsible for all efforts attributed to YoY increase in .com profitability through the management and execution of all aspects of SEO, SEM, digital marketing, social, and project management services while ensuring activities are aligned with the hotel's vision and overall corporate strategy.
  • Oversee all content and messaging on the hotel's brand/independent/social sites/OTA listings to ensure accuracy, effective branding, and sites are up to date with the latest property content, photos, and offers.
  • Manage all website and brand content management tools (CMS, EPIC, eFast, eAction) and complete annual online health assessments to ensure all assets adhere to industry best practices.
  • Work cooperatively with DOSM, regional directors, agency partners, and corporate digital team to define strategy, and ensure daily workflow, schedules, and project deadlines are met.
  • Analyze and report out on monthly key .com KPIs, as well as on any other major online channels and campaigns, to show growth in key metrics against last year and brand averages.
  • Identify hotel training opportunities and provide ongoing maintenance and pull-through on all brand-required initiatives.
  • Research and help to identify business opportunities for hotel online performance improvement and report findings and conclusions to department leadership.
  • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and brand requirements.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in either SEO, Revenue Management, Hospitality Sales, or OTA; agency and hospitality experience a plus.
  • Project management with strong organizational skills to coordinate with hotel teams, regional senior leadership, national brands, and agencies.
  • Professional, articulate person who can effectively communicate to various audiences (GMs, DOS, RVPs), break down high-level/metrics to fundamentals, and comfortable on the phone.
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to embrace and maximize a changing landscape.
  • Strength in influencing people with new ways of thinking to commit and accept responsibility for actions combined with the patience to listen and respond.
  • Experience with Hotel brand programs: IHG Boost, Marriott MPlus, and Hilton Elevate - a strong plus
  • Experience with Revinate and Expedia - a strong plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Photoshop skills - a strong plus
  • On-property Hotel experience - a strong plus
