Working closely alongside the EMEA HR team and reporting to the Benefits Manager EMEA, the Benefits Coordinator will have responsibility in administering the A&M benefits programs for primarily our UK office, along with the firm's Europe, Middle East and the Cayman Islands locations and their respective local office managers. This is an exciting role within the HR team and one that will provide the opportunity for growth and development with employer sponsored health, insurance, wellness and pension programs.

The ideal candidate will be looking for a challenging role in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and professional company and will have experience/interest in functioning as a liaison between vendors and employees while advising employees on eligibility, coverage and other benefits matters. Maintaining benefits records and ensuring compliance with applicable country laws and regulations will be a key responsibility.


  • Partner with the Benefits Advisor to serve as the main point of contact for benefit-related issues with colleagues and providers.
  • Support mediation between third-party vendors and employees, such as by assisting with employees' benefits-related questions or escalating to senior management as needed
  • Partner with Payroll and HRIS to resolve issues and implement process and system changes
  • Partner with local office managers in Europe, Middle East and the Cayman Islands on benefit issues and projects
  • Instruct Payroll each month of any pension and benefit-related changes
  • Fulfil all reporting requirements of relevant government rules and regulations
  • Process routine invoices for payment with third-party vendors
  • Assist with the evaluation of benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements
  • Develop methods to improve employment policies, processes, and practices, and recommend changes to management

Knowledge Expertise:

  • CIPD qualification is preferred, or ideally working towards Reward/Benefits specialisation.
  • Administration and Management - Knowledge of cyclical processes related to employer-sponsored benefits, other fringe benefits and wellness initiatives
  • Law and Government - Knowledge of laws, regulations, court procedures, precedents, and executive orders
  • Technical - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, advanced knowledge of Excel preferred
  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.


  • Active Learning - Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Time Management - Prioritize work and deliverables for own self and with third-party vendors
  • Communicate and Escalate - Use good judgement to raise issues timely with senior management
  • Work Style - Be able to work within a team structure as well as independently
  • Complex Problem Solving - Identify complex problems and review related information to help senior management develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Basic data processing with MS Excel, use of basic functions (like VLOOKUP & pivot tables).

Essential Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • HR, Payroll and/or Benefits experience
  • Interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
