JOB SUMMARY:

The overall objective of the Entertainment Coordinator is to keep the fast-paced entertainment department organized. This includes the coordination of all Entertainment-related calendars of events as well as maintaining show contracts/amendments when executed, expiring, etc. The Coordinator will be expected to run the day to day office needs for the VP of Entertainment and Directors, which will include vetting meeting requests, organizing calendar invites and generally promoting improved communication within a team of entertainment professionals at all Las Vegas venue locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist Management with any IT, Phone and computer program requests needed for existing team and new hires
  • Order office supplies entertainment offices
  • Maintain calendar of events for all Artist special occasions, birthdays, show anniversaries, etc.
  • Organize the calendar for all Entertainment team FTO requests
  • Assist with monthly P&L reviews, invoice approvals and keep up to date LET calendars
  • Coordinate ticket requests and proper notifications for any VIP celebrity guests that attend shows
  • Check regularly all related website pages to ensure they are correct
  • Assist with venue repair requests, including submitting Maximo requests
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with EVS, Security, Facilities and F&B at each property
  • Assist with any special events in entertainment venues or other venues when we are suppling entertainment (July 4th, NYE, Super Bowl, WSOP, Fool Us, Pool Party, etc.)
  • Exhibit sound judgement when making decisions that affect the flow of proprietary information related to the Entertainment department
  • Respond quickly and courteously to staff and partner needs, questions, comments, or concerns with answers and/or action
  • Prepare assigned reports as directed
  • Responsible for scheduling staff meetings and other meetings as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Enjoy working within a team
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and courteously
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Full-time, flexible shifts, available to work nights and weekends, including holidays
  • Prior coordination experience preferred. Experience in a theater/show/event setting is highly desired
  • Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Education: Bachelor degree preferred; high school diploma
  • Experience: Minimum two years of supervisory and/or casino showroom experience
